Oven Temperature Guide
Some ovens use marks
instead of degrees centigrade or Fahrenheit standards
while some cookbooks and recipes use the terms low,
moderate and hot. Here we try to equalize the usage
of these terms.
Very Low
- 200 degrees - 275 degrees F
Low - 300 degrees - 325 degrees
F
Moderate - 350 degrees - 375
degrees F
Hot - 400 degrees - 450 degrees
F
Very Hot - 450 degrees - 475
degrees F
Broil - 500 degrees - 550 degrees
F
