Pinaksiwang Tilapia

Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces Tilapia fish (cleaned and scaled)
  • 1 small ginger
  • 1 ripe guava (quartered)
  • 6 pieces guava leaves
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • pinch of salt

Procedure:

  1. In a casserole, arrange fish, ginger, guava and guava leaves.
  2. Pour in vinegar and coconut milk.
  3. Season with salt.
  4. Cook covered over medium heat and let boil until fish is done.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
